Training
After inscribing in the
Geneva
Mechanics
School
in 1999 as a full time student, Emmanuel put his autodidact field
experience (that started with his dad under the family English taxi)
to good use and was given special permission to shorten the usual 4
years cursus to 3 years. This accelerated pace did not stop Emmanuel
from finishing best student in the canton in 2002 and also winning
the AMAD “prize for excellence” in
the automobile community.
In 2003, wishing to perfect
his training in mechanics and engineering Emmanuel enrolled himself
in the training for the “Brevet Federal de diagnostician” the
highest obtainable rank in automotive tech training.
In 2004 the Pitstop teamed up with Samuel Lipinski who after
obtaining his CFC in 2002 at the same time as Emmanuel also enrolled
in the same session for the Brevet Federal de diagnostician in 2003
Bravo ! to Emmanuel and Samuel who were both among the only 3 out of
17! originally inscribed to
pass the exams for the Brevet Federal.
In 2005 the Pitstop team welcomed its first apprentice Valere
Mermoud. Now in his last year of training he was also able to
accelerate his training by taking first and second year at once and
has now been recognized in the school for his excellent results.
Bravo !
Our team is completed with the arrival of Telmo Ferreira in 2007 who
after obtaining his CFC in mechanics in 2003 went on to follow
training at the Engineering School of Locle in 2004-2005.
